Cala Ratjada
Cala Ratjada is the principle port of the municipal district of Capdepera; built on a small rocky peninsula on the extreme north east corner of the island. Cala Ratjada was once a quiet little fishing port and is in fact still one of the most important fishing harbours in Mallorca. Today, the beautiful harbour also is home to a full range of yachts and sailboats, as Cala Ratjada has become an important tourism destination on Mallorca, and provides access to some of the most stunning dive sites on the island in the Reserva Marina del Levante de Mallorca.
Our dive center is located in the middle of the harbour, and offer daily departures to more than 25 dive sites for all levels within 2 to 15 minutes ride by our 7,5 RIB speed boat with a 225 hp Yamaha engine. Like all mallorcadiving.com centers, all dives are accompanied by experienced instructors. At our center in Cala Ratjada, we offer all courses up to professional level, technical diving, re-breather, diving for children and NITROX-diving. Our center carries a full range of equipment for rental, for both adults and children, as well as computers, photo camera, video camera and lamps. The center also has a changing room with a nice, hot shower after your dive.
From our center in Cala Ratjada, we also offer trips to the Pirate's Sea Cave of Porto Cristo by boat all the way from Cala Ratjada to witness the stunning coastline of the northeast of Mallorca.
The center is open between March and November from 9.30 to 18.00, and on request outside season. Like all Mallorcadiving.com centers, we offer free pick-up for our activities at your hotel.
